Back to School Trends: Bracelets

"But what kind of bracelets, Liz?" Well I'll tell you-

Bangles and cuffs!

You know cuffs.. I've been seeing them for a while now, just make sure not to wear ones that are too big or one on each wrist- trust me, you don't want to do that. You'll look like a metal christmas tree (the words of a wise Michael Korrs)

Bangles, everyone knows them. Just a bunch of bracelets stacked on top of each other..

Personally, I don't think it's necessary to spend a lot of money on jewelry, because you can get all the same stuff at places like forever 21 and charlotte russe for a fraction of the price.

Now I'm not saying that I'm opposed to pearl earrings and diamond necklaces, those have real value and should be splurged on, all I'm saying is that it's not worth it to buy a $30 chinsy bracelet when you can get somewhere else for $8.. yeah true story, I'm speaking out of hurt.

Now I'm not going to post links to jewelry, but i can definitely tell you the best places to get jewelry for great prices..

Back to School Trends: Super Skinny Jeans

You know the difference between super skinny and skinny right? If you don't, here it is: Super skinny are the leggings of jeans. They hug every inch of skin on your legs, whereas skinny are still form fitting but don't hug the ankle as much.

My favorite place to buy jeans are Hollister and Abercrombie. I know a lot of people don't really like Hollister and Abercrombie things, but just hear me out.

When it comes to denim, you need to keep quality in mind, and personally I think Hollister and Abercrombie have wonderful quality for the price (on sale I mean). If you are totally opposed to buying from there, I'd recommend American Eagle, American Apparal, or anywhere where the denim feels not stiff, but firm and won't rip. But please take my word for it, Hollister & Abercrombie have beautiful and quality jeans in any leg, wash, and ripped amount you could want.

Back to School Trends: Leather Jackets

I've been doing my research and I am going to touch on things that are going to be trends this coming fall for the next three months or so here we go.

The first trend I'm going to talk about is the leather jacket.

I wore a leather jacket throughout the fall and into the early winter last year and I always felt stylish and like a bad-ass. Although this wasn't the most quality of items in my closet, I thought it gave my outfit that sharp edginess it needed to take it one knotch higher.

My leather jacket was a simple purposly beat-up light black leather jacket that zipped up slightly to the side. It wasn't very thick and didn't really keep me warm during December. But it was good if I was ever cold during school, I could just throw it on. It looked equally like a jacket you would wear during school or something you'd wear outside.

I bought mine at forever 21 and I will post some links at the bottom of this post for some cute ones I found as well.

Now I personally think that a leather jacket can be a good investment because it can easily feel cheap. But I was lucky that mine didn't seem cheap even though it was. If I was made of money, I probably wouldn't have gone to forever 21 to buy it, but it served it's purpose and it looks great.

Now there are many different colors of leather jackets, theres the traditional smooth black, beat up black (has a grey tint to it), grey, dark tan, khaki, brown, and chamois (that burnt orange/brown color). All these colors are great and can really add different tones to different outfits.

For that rock/glam look, wear a black pencil skirt, black leather jacket, and tons of silver accessories (not too much) for a "Yeah I'm hot, but don't f*** with me" look.

These are some jackets in various colors that I recommend!

Easy, Simple, Stylish Outfit!

An easy outfit that looks adorable and stylish is simple.

Nordstrom in the junior department, most of the time carries tons of soft, cotton cardigans. Pair one of those in an color (I have tomato red, yellow, light blue, and purple), with a cute pair of shorts (my favorite are denim), gladiators/flip flops, a cute headband, and necklace- and youre all set!
